If you haven’t been to Bradley O’s Steakhouse and Saloon, you are missing out on some of
the best food in the Bitterroot Valley. Bradley O’s is located just 6 miles south of Hamilton on US Highway 93. From the outside,
Bradley O’s certainly looks the part. The rugged outdoor look and feel sets the tone for one of the best dining experiences in Montana.
My lovely wife and I arrived around 6pm and were greeted warmly by Shelly. If you haven’t met Shelly yet, you owe it to yourself to
stop by and get to know her and the great staff at Bradley O’s. This was our last night in Montana, and honestly, we were almost tired
of eating. Twenty two restaurants in four days may sound like a lot of fun (ok, it is a lot of fun) but after a while, everyone needs
to rest their palette. Bradley O’s changed my mind about eating the moment we walked into the dining room. The smell of great food
swept over us and I was back in eating mode in no time. We started out with the bacon wrapped scallops. I really did not anticipate
having such great seafood while in Western Montana. The scallops were full of flavor and I highly recommend them. After the appetizer,
we were delighted to dig into the buffalo ribeye and jumbo shrimp. Buffalo is a lean meat and I was a bit apprehensive in my order
because I thought lean meant less flavor. This was definitely NOT the case. The buffalo ribeye was seasoned to perfection and had
a wonderful taste. The shrimp were large and succulent. We had the garlic mashed potatoes and steamed veggies and both were quite
good. Bradley O’s serves fine foods in a casual atmosphere. I felt right at home dining alongside the mix of “well to do” older people
and the casually dressed family of five that sat beside us. Bradley O’s can satisfy most any food craving. They serve up steaks, seafood,
bbq ribs and pork loin. We were so full that we weren’t able to try the tasty desserts that the other guests were busy enjoying. I
was also pleasantly surprised when the bill came. At first, I thought that our waitress had forgotten to charge us for everything.
Fantastic food that doesn’t break the bank. That is certainly my kind of steakhouse. Bradley O’s also has a huge selection in their
saloon. With daily specials, there is certainly something for you. If you find yourself in Western Montana and craving some world
class food in a casual atmosphere, stop by Bradley O’s and don’t forget to tell them that the Mystery Gourmand sent you.

The steaks
are amazing, as is pretty much everything else on the menu. This place has it all; service, food and ambience...hands down best restaurant
in the Hamilton/Darby area. It's so hard to get a waitress to not treat you like dirt in the Bitterroot, let alone food that makes
your mouth water thinking about it a week later. Good job Bradley O's!
